While St. Francis put up plenty of points on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Watsonville. The Sharks blew past the Wildcatz 32-0. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won five games by 20 points or more so far this season.

St. Francis found their leader in sophomore Liliana Whitmeyer, who threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 56 yards and one score on only five carries. Another player making a difference was Maya Calfee, who gained 217 total yards and three touchdowns.

St. Francis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Calfee led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself. Calfee is also crushing it when it comes to receiving yards: she's posted at least 101 every time she's taken the field this season.

St. Francis pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.2 points on average over those games. As for Watsonville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
