Recap: Carson Colts vs. Franklin Panthers
The Carson Colts's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 60-39 margin over Franklin.
Jacob Ortega was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points. The contest was his 16th in a row with at least ten points. Ezekiel Harry was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Carson's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Jordan at 1:00 p.m. on December 23rd. Jordan is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. Franklin will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bravo at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024.
