Basketball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 58-27 loss at the hands of the Quanah Indians. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1190th, while the Indians are ranked 463rd).

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Quanah, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.

Highland Park will be playing in front of their home fans against Wellington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Quanah, they will head out to square off against Memphis at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Quanah is facing Memphis at the right time seeing as Memphis is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
