Chalker entered their tilt with Leetonia on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bears 17-1. Considering the Wildcats have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Tatum Hudak and Riley Ashcraft were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Hudak struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Ashcraft pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hudak has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
