Basketball Recap: Ravenscroft Comes Up Short

After flying high against Leesville Road last Monday, Ravenscroft came back down to earth. The Ravenscroft Ravens were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 58-57 to the Trinity Academy Tigers. The Ravens were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Ravenscroft's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Trinity Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Ravenscroft and Trinity Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. Ravenscroft (ranked 67th) will meet North Raleigh Christian Academy (ranked 211th) at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Trinity Academy will square off against St. David's at 7:00 p.m. on Monday up 208 places (107 vs. 315).
