Football Game Preview: South Oak Cliff Bears vs. Randle Lions

Two dominant backs in Mikail Trotter and Sincere Timpson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The South Oak Cliff Bears will take on the Randle Lions in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

South Oak Cliff is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 37-3 win over Argyle. The victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

Meanwhile, Randle put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Boerne 42-7. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 160th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Oak Cliff better keep an eye on Tyler Skrabanek. He was instrumental in Randle's win, throwing for 224 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most passing yards Skrabanek has posted since back in October. Jaxon Montelongo did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 90 receiving yards.

South Oak Cliff pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.0 points per game. As for Randle, their victory bumped their record up to 15-0.
