Basketball Recap: Miramonte Victorious

While Miramonte's victory against Windsor wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Matadors escaped with a win on Wednesday against the Jaguars by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55.

Miramonte is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points over those games. As for Windsor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Coming up, Miramonte will welcome Galileo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Windsor, they will challenge Tamalpais at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
