Football Game Preview: Eagleville Eagles vs. Fayetteville Tigers + How To Watch

The Eagleville Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Fayetteville Tigers on Friday. Eagleville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 111 points over their last three contests.

Eagleville's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Zion Christian Academy 33-0. Considering Eagleville has won six matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jonathan Jordan produced another solid performance rushing for 211 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Those 211 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Jordan was just one part of a punishing run game: Eagleville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 265 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Zion Christian Academy only rushed for -6.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville lost to Richland at home by a 37-22 margin on Friday.

Eagleville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.4 points on average over those games. As for Fayetteville, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-5.

Eagleville was dealt a bruising 52-6 loss at the hands of Fayetteville when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
