Soccer Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Maumelle Hornets, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly five goals.

Jacksonville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Maumelle, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2.

When Jacksonville and Maumelle next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Jacksonville will square off against Central Arkansas Christian and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Maumelle will try to stop Little Rock Christian Academy's four-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
