Baseball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ravenswood last Wednesday, Buffalo came back down to earth. The Bison fell just short of the Logan Wildcats by a score of 9-8 on Monday.

Hunter Rutan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Mason Crouch also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Logan, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo will host Poca at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Logan, they will be playing at home against Winfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Generals will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
