Baseball Recap: Ann Sobrato Beats Oak Grove for Their 11th Straight Victory

Ann Sobrato had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Oak Grove on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Eagles 11-1. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Vince Pomo was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hunter Rubbo, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Pomo wasn't the only one making solid contact: Ann Sobrato kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Grove only managed four hits.
