Football Recap: Morse Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Morse kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 31-0 loss at the hands of the Sweetwater Red Devils. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sweetwater to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abdulkhadir Osman, who picked up 152 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 152 receiving yards gave Osman a new career-high. Christian Corpus was in the mix too, providing Sweetwater with two scores.

Looking ahead, Morse will face off against Orange Glen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sweetwater, they will square off against Rancho Buena Vista at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th.
