Maria Goske and Mackenizie Callender secure win for Beaumont School

Recap: Beaumont School Blue Streaks vs. Walsh Jesuit Warriors

Even though the Beaumont School Blue Streaks have not done well against the Walsh Jesuit Warriors recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Beaumont School was the clear victor by a 42-22 margin over Walsh Jesuit. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Beaumont School.

Leading Beaumont School to victory were Maria Goske and Mackenizie Callender. Goske scored 13 points, while Callender dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Callender's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shannon Shea, who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds.

Beaumont School pushed their record up to 8-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Walsh Jesuit, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Beaumont School has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Harding at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th. As for Walsh Jesuit, they will head out on the road to face off against Ellet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
