Volleyball Recap: Bonita Vista Comes Up Short

Bonita Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Jolla Country Day Torreys. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Barons of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Bonita Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for La Jolla Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Bonita Vista has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Carlsbad on the 11th. As for La Jolla Country Day, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Helix on the 11th.
