Goochland is 8-2 against Amelia County since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will host the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Goochland will be strutting in after a win while Amelia County will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Goochland turned things around against Monticello on Thursday. They blew past the Mustangs 11-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Amelia County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Nottoway.

Goochland's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Amelia County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Goochland skirted past Amelia County 4-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
