Basketball Recap: Washington Wins Going Away Against North Point

Washington posted their biggest win since January 3rd on Friday. Everything went their way against the North Point Grizzlies as the Washington Bluejays made off with a 65-40 victory. Given the Bluejays' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 424th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Washington pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for North Point, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Coming up, Washington will welcome Fort Zumwalt West at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Point, they will square off against Fort Zumwalt East at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
