Godley got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Hillsboro Eagles by a score of 37-25 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Eagles back in January, they had to take a 49-44 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Hillsboro lost, don't look at Kameron Rose. Despite the final result, he posted eight points and 16 boards. Rose is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last five games he's played.

Godley's victory bumped their record up to 6-23. As for Hillsboro, they dropped their record down to 14-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Godley has already played their next game, a 56-24 loss against Gordon on the 7th. As for Hillsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 65-47 defeat against Alvarado on the 7th.
