Recap: Hobgood Charter Raiders vs. Northeast Academy Eagles
The Hobgood Charter Raiders's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northeast Academy 61-32 at home. With Hobgood Charter ahead 38-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hobgood Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Edward Melendez , who scored 14 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Roberson , who scored 17 points.
Northeast Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaden Medford, who scored 8 points. Camden White was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 6 rebounds.
Northeast Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Hobgood Charter racked up ten.
Hobgood Charter now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Northeast Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.

Hobgood Charter will take on Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Northeast Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethel Assembly Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Bethel Assembly Christian Academy is ranked 498th, while Northeast Academy is ranked 516th).
