Recap: Potter's House Christian Lions vs. The Rock National Lions
The Potter's House Christian Lions pushed their score all the way to 68 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 77-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Rock National. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (64), Potter's House Christian still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Potter's House Christian still got an impressive performance from Tijan Barrie, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Fredy-salam Sylla was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven assists.
This is the second loss in a row for Potter's House Christian and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for The Rock National, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.
Potter's House Christian will take on Mainland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mainland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday. As for The Rock National, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Florida State University High School at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. One thing working in Florida State University High School's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matchups.
