Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Bryln Kirchenschlager and Kaitlyn Eiland Lead Stephenville FAITH to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bluff Dale, Stephenville FAITH was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Johnson County Sports Association Lions. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-27, 25-16, 25-20.

Stephenville FAITH was led to victory by Kaitlyn Eiland and Bryln Kirchenschlager. Eiland had six aces, while Kirchenschlager had five aces. Those five aces gave Kirchenschlager a new career-high. Stella House also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Stephenville FAITH was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. They are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Stephenville FAITH's record now sits at 6-4. As for Johnson County Sports Association, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Stephenville FAITH will face off against Victory Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Johnson County Sports Association does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
