Legacy Christian Academy can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They skirted past the John Paul II Cardinals 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in March, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Carson Plunkett, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jett Williford, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Legacy Christian Academy picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 8-10. As for John Paul II, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.
