Basketball Recap: Orestimba Has No Trouble Against Delhi

Orestimba fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They ended the year with a bang, routing the Delhi Hawks 59-37 on Monday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

Devon Bell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 boards. Emiliano Alvarez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Orestimba was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Orestimba has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-7 record this season. As for Delhi, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Orestimba wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-40 victory against Millennium on the 3rd. As for Delhi, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-64 win against Riverbank on the 3rd.
