Soccer Game Preview: Buckhorn vs. East Limestone

The Buckhorn Bucks will face off against the East Limestone Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Buckhorn's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Buckhorn fell victim to Hazel Green and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time Buckhorn couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, East Limestone had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Neither they nor Priceville could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time East Limestone have been dealt a draw since back in March.

Buckhorn's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 12-8-2. East Limestone's draw gives them a new season record of 6-9-2.

Everything went Buckhorn's way against East Limestone in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, as Buckhorn made off with an 8-0 win. Do the Bucks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
