Basketball Recap: Arvada Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Arvada had lost 12 straight headed into Monday's match, but Cameron Henderson didn't let it get to 13. The Arvada Bulldogs secured a 67-63 W over the Lake County Panthers on Monday thanks in part to Henderson, who shot 5-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Arvada's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Lake County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arvada will take on The Pinnacle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake County, they will square off against Platte Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
