Brett Hobbs posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Hobbs and Wellington will play host again on Wednesday to welcome Spanish River, where first pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. Wellington is 7-2 against Spanish River going back to February of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
