Baseball Recap: Clyde Find Success

After losing to Lake the last time they met, Clyde decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fliers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Flyers on Monday, sneaking past 6-4.

Colt Flores looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Brayden Olson was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Mason Flewelling was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Clyde's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Lake, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Clyde will challenge Bellevue at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Fliers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lake, they will square off against Woodmore at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
