Softball Recap: Denfeld Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Denfeld's offense. They came up short against the Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines on Thursday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Hunters' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Denfeld dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia], they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Denfeld will face off against South Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia], they will challenge North Branch at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
