Volleyball Recap: Peach County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Taylor County

Peach County kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Taylor County Vikings. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Peach County was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Taylor County work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-16, 25-19.

The victory (which was Taylor County's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peach County will head out to challenge Westside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylor County, they will venture away from home to face off against Sumter County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
