Watauga put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the St. Stephens Indians by a score of 28-18. The Pioneers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Watauga had a senior duo take command as Cade Keller threw for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Everett Gryder gained 96 total yards and two touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Watauga proved: they limited St. Stephens to a paltry three yards per carry. The team can thank John Wilson Mills for the heroic effort on defense: he. Watauga's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.8.
