Volleyball Recap: Walton Comes Up Short

If Walton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of St. John Paul II on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Braves came up short against the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-6.

Pensacola Catholic was led to victory by Paige Suezeneau and Madison Walker. Suezeneau had nine digs and three aces, while Walker had four digs and two aces.

Walton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pensacola Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Walton will host Liberty County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pensacola Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Tate at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
