Volleyball Recap: Verdugo Hills Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Verdugo Hills can now relate to. They came up short against the Panorama Pythons on Monday, falling 3-0.

Joy Useh paced Verdugo Hills' offense, picking up eight kills. Useh got some help from Riley Reinsch and her 14 assists. Reinsch was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Verdugo Hills has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Panorama, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-14.

Verdugo Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Panorama, they will take on New West Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
