Softball Recap: John Jay Comes Up Short

John Jay fell victim to Grand Street Campus and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 11-5.

John Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Grand Street Campus, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Jay will host Brooklyn Technical at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Street Campus, they will be playing at home against Scholars Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
