Softball Recap: Germantown Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Germantown's offense. They fell just short of the Harrison Central Red Rebels by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Mavericks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Rebels from their previous meeting back in March of 2021.

Germantown's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Harrison Central, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.

Coming up, Germantown will host Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Harrison Central, they will take on D'Iberville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
