Baseball Recap: Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fairfield lost against York Suburban back in April of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fairfield Knights lost 7-1 to the York Suburban Trojans.

Fairfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stephen Higgs, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Fairfield now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for York Suburban, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield will head out to face off against Bermudian Springs at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for York Suburban, they will venture away from home to square off against New Oxford at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
