Baseball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

Kingston fell victim to Sandusky and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 7-4 to the Wolves when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Sandusky, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

While Kingston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
