Volleyball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Find Success

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy lost to Page back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sand Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Ryse Howlett paced Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Howlett were helped by Sophia Arvizu-Zarazua and Emma Nicholas, who contributed eight assists each. Brooke Sanburn controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Page still got an impressive performance from Jordyn Smith, who had 12 digs.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Page, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Northland Prep Academy on the 19th. As for Page, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cicero Prep Academy on the 19th.
