The St. Luke's Storm are taking a road trip to challenge the Hopkins Hilltoppers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Luke's knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Hopkins likes a good challenge.
On Wednesday, St. Luke's got the win against Rye Country Day by a conclusive 21-6. The Storm haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Lucia Biasotti was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, St. Luke's got a massive performance out of Ellie Fatsi, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Fatsi is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Lucy Millones was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
St. Luke's was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .486. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .350 or higher in eight consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Hopkins fell victim to Choate Rosemary Hall School and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Wild Boars.
St. Luke's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Hopkins, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Everything went St. Luke's way against Hopkins in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, as St. Luke's made off with a 9-0 victory. Do the Storm have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hilltoppers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
