Football Recap: Sandy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Sunset last Friday, Sandy came back down to earth. The Pioneers took a 34-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilsonville Wildcats on Friday. The Pioneers lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in October of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-14 score last time.

Trevor Glos was a one-man wrecking crew For Wilsonville. as he threw for 236 yards and four TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. Keona Tam was in the mix as well, providing the Wildcats with two scores.

Sandy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandy will welcome McMinnville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilsonville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
