Basketball Recap: Reidsville Comes Up Short

Reidsville fought the good fight in their overtime match against Morehead on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Morehead Panthers. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Reidsville's record is now 2-9. As for Morehead, the victory snapped their losing streak at 12 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-10 record.

When Reidsville and Morehead next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Reidsville will try to stop Orange's five-game winning streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Morehead will challenge North Forsyth and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
