Basketball Game Preview: Central Cambria Red Devils vs. Bald Eagle Area Eagles

The Central Cambria Red Devils just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Bald Eagle Area Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Friday, Central Cambria came up short against Westmont Hilltop and fell 55-45. The loss continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Hilltoppers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Bald Eagle Area played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 68-40 defeat at the hands of Huntingdon. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while the Bearcats are ranked 212th).

Central Cambria's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bald Eagle Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
