Basketball Recap: Camden County Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

Camden County Vo-Tech lost against Pennsauken Tech back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pennsauken Tech.

Leading Pennsauken Tech to victory were Omari Spencer and Tyrone Baker. Spencer went 6 of 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to five assists and five boards, while Baker went 9 for 19 on his way to 28 points. Those five assists gave Spencer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Melendez, who posted six points and three steals.

Camden County Vo-Tech's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Pennsauken Tech, their record is now 3-1.

Camden County Vo-Tech will head out to challenge Salem County Vo-Tech at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Camden County Vo-Tech is facing Salem County Vo-Tech at the right time seeing as Salem County Vo-Tech is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pennsauken Tech, they will take on St. Joseph in a tournament on Friday. One thing working in St. Joseph's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
