Baseball Game Preview: Broad Run Spartans vs. Stone Bridge Bulldogs

The Broad Run Spartans will head out to face off against the Stone Bridge Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Broad Run had taken Loudoun Valley down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Spartans lost 8-1 to the Vikings. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Stone Bridge narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past John Champe 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Broad Run's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Stone Bridge, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Broad Run couldn't quite finish off Stone Bridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 and fell 4-2. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
