Volleyball Recap: School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Comes Up Short

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology lost against San Diego Academy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 3-2. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cavaliers 25-15 in the first set.

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 24-26, 25-9, 25-20, 15-11.

San Diego Academy can attribute much of their success to Dustin Jewell, who had 55 assists and ten digs. Those 55 assists gave Jewell a new career-high.

School for Entrepreneurship & Technology now has a losing record of 12-13. As for San Diego Academy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Looking ahead, School for Entrepreneurship & Technology will square off against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. San Diego Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
