Marblehead barely beat Swampscott the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Magicians were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Big Blue on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Magicians in their matchups with the Big Blue: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Peabody Veterans Memorial didn't have quite enough to beat Masconomet Regional on Friday and fell 7-5.

Marblehead's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Peabody Veterans Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
