Wabash is 8-2 against Northfield since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 4:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Wabash will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Wabash saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 55-44 to Southwood. While losing is never fun, the Apaches can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Knights are ranked 198th).

Despite the loss, Wabash had strong showings from DaVon Osborn, who posted ten points and five rebounds, and Derek Reed, who put up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Eli Mattern, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, Northfield was beaten by Manchester 77-41 on Friday.

Northfield now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Wabash, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Wabash came up short against Northfield in their previous meeting last Friday, falling 40-27. Can Wabash avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
