Football Game Preview: DuPont Tigers vs. Delcastle Technical Cougars

The DuPont Tigers will take on the Delcastle Technical Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. DuPont is looking for their season's first win.

DuPont's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Glasgow on Saturday. They lost 21-0 to the Dragons.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Delcastle Technical and Concord meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 14-12. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Although Delcastle Technical took the loss, they still got scores from Keith Ruley and Marcus Costen.

Delcastle Technical now has a losing record of 1-2. As for DuPont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for DuPont against Delcastle Technical when the teams last played back in October of 2016, as the squad secured a 37-0 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
