Volleyball Recap: Solorio Comes Up Short

Solorio lost to Berwyn/Cicero Morton back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sun Warriors fell 2-0 to the Mustangs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton can attribute much of their success to Jesus Zenteno, who had 14 assists and three aces. Those three aces gave Zenteno a new career-high.

Solorio suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 2-2. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, their win ended a four-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-1.

Solorio has already played their next contest (against Lake View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, they will take on Addison Trail at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
