Basketball Recap: Warsaw Takes a Loss

Warsaw and KIPP Legacy squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Warsaw had to settle for second. They took a blow against KIPP Legacy, falling 64-20. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Warsaw still got an impressive performance from Noah Siebert, who posted nine points.

Warsaw moved to 17-10 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points over those games. As for KIPP Legacy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Warsaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for KIPP Legacy, they will take on East Buchanan on Friday. East Buchanan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully KIPP Legacy likes a good challenge.
