            The Stringer Red Devils will head out on the road to  face off against  the Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both  have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Stringer and 14 for Mississippi School for the Deaf.
Last Tuesday, Stringer took a  blow against Leake County, falling  66-20. The  contest marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
Meanwhile,  Mississippi School for the Deaf played a tough  matchup  on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Mount Olive 55-17. The Bulldogs were down  48-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
 Stringer will have to keep a close watch on  Learvious Hill and  Tyler Thomas, a pair of players who had a big impact on Mississippi School for the Deaf's prior game. Hill  posted six  points, while  Thomas  had six points.
 Mississippi School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Stringer, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
 Everything came up roses for Stringer against Mississippi School for the Deaf when the teams last played  back in January of 2024, as the  team secured  a  58-25 victory.
