Soccer Game Preview: Reidsville vs. North Forsyth

Reidsville hasn't had much luck against North Forsyth recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Rams will head out to face off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Reidsville put up the most goals they have all season on Friday. They blew past Morehead 4-1. Reidsville have beaten Morehead the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Morehead has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, North Forsyth kept a clean sheet against Walkertown on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Wolfpack. North Forsyth might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by three goals or more this season.

North Forsyth is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four contests. As for Reidsville, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Reidsville might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from North Forsyth in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
